At A Box of Dallas, the inspiration
to start our business came from a
love of the culture and unique
products of Dallas, Texas. We
wanted to create a way for people
to share and celebrate the best
that our city has to offer, whether
they are welcoming new clients,
celebrating milestones, or simply
sharing a piece of Dallas with loved
ones.
The idea of A Box of Dallas was
started about five years ago when
we wanted to give high-quality,
locally-sourced gift boxes that truly
capture the essence of Dallas.
Combining
our
passion
for
supporting local businesses with a
desire to provide meaningful,
curated gifts, we started A Box of
Dallas.
Since
then,
we
have
been
dedicated to handpicking the finest
local
products
and
creating
beautifully crafted gift boxes that
make every occasion special. Our
journey has been fueled by the
amazing community of Dallas
artisans
and
the
incredible
feedback from our loyal customers.
It's been an exciting and rewarding
experience, and we look forward to
continuing to bring the best of
Dallas to everyone.

MY JOURNEY
Starting A Box of Dallas was a significant and personal shift for me, rooted in my background as a teacher and
my passion for thoughtful gifting. After 14 years of teaching, I found immense joy in seeing the impact of small
gestures on my students. The smiles from a simple note of encouragement or a small token of appreciation
were reminders of the power of kindness and thoughtfulness.
Teaching was such a rewarding journey, but I always had a passion for creating and curating unique gifts. I loved
the process of finding the perfect items that could bring joy and convey a heartfelt message. It was a way of
connecting with people, showing them they were valued and appreciated. Over time, this passion grew
stronger, and I began to dream of turning it into something more.
The transition from teaching to starting a gift company was a leap of faith, it was driven by a deep desire to
make a difference in a new way. I wanted to combine my love for thoughtful gestures with a dedication to
supporting local businesses in Dallas. A Box of Dallas was born from this dream, aiming to bring joy to
recipients while celebrating the incredible talent and products our city has to offer.
Each gift box we curate is a reflection of my journey from teaching to entrepreneurship, blending compassion
and care from the classroom with the excitement and creativity of building a business. Through A Box of Dallas,
I strive to create meaningful connections, just as I did with my students, one thoughtfully curated gift at a time.
